Ghiya Barfi


Ghiya ki Launj or Lauki ki Barfi, or Bottle Gourd Fudge, is a unique and interesting vegetable-based sweet prepared with bottle gourd, milk and sugar. It basically carries a moist and layered feel similar to a fudge-like texture and hence can be served for any occasion and celebration. It’s great for festivals and parties, even for fasts, it can be eaten as phalahar.

In some parts of India, this sweet is also made with coconut, which adds to its flavour & taste.
